lots of sites related to Bersih seem down at the moment (incl bersih.org itself). conspiracy question time: attacked by pro-gov hackers?
  • sheon · 1 year ago
RETURN THE POWER TO THE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO BERSIH!!!!!! I salute all who attended the massive RALLY!!!!
  • badduck · 1 year ago
say hi to civil liberty. hopefully to see this again soon. changes can only happen with action. too bad majority of malaysians are passive twats. get boinked by the gov and still remain like a dead fish. with this i hope others will join in the cause. a bit of s&m keeps both honest and in check.
  • id · 1 year ago
massive traffic jam is more like it..but yeah, power to the people.

hope our election can be as bersih as possible. if not even we all vote for the opposition, BN still reigns..i heard from somewhere that even if BN get 40% of total votes, it still have the 2/3 majority in the parliament....

    You are my hero.

I've blogged about it. Can't wait to see your pictures!
  • tw · 1 year ago

  • thegeekinpink · 1 year ago

  • chm · 1 year ago
u actually went 4 the rally huh? u haf my respect... 1 party 4 50 yrs... y so? i was watching 4 30 mins frm masjid jamek lrt station... finally malaysians r doing something in public 4 their own freedom since before independence
  • Lawrenz L · 1 year ago
Hmm.. you were there.. But you weren't at masjid jamek.. And I was at masjid jamek, i'm glad that i'm still alive and free, but my eyes are still itching...
Btw, captured some photos.. But not much "action" shots as it was raining "tear-gas-bomb" and "water-cannon".. literally.. haha...
It's a milestone for our country but the mainstream media, i dunno what to say lah..
  • badduck · 1 year ago
look at todays mainstream newspapers.... already told by the gov to hush it when reporting on this matter.... didn't even appear as the headlines in the stars and nst... like i always say... well come to malaysia... this also kannot... that also kannot...
  • Porcupine · 1 year ago

  • yeo · 1 year ago
    BRAVO!!!
Glad that young gal like u do care!
too bad didnt bump into u when we painted city Yellow!
  • LLK · 1 year ago
I came across your blog through links from another blog about BERSIH. I respect you for attending this rally. I wish I was there now. Too chicken to attend I guess. *sigh*

This rally is such a good cause in the sense that more people will be aware of their rights now, and it shows that it DOES make a difference (elections I mean).

    You're my hero!!!! ;P
  • LLK · 1 year ago
and..you're only 18! It's incredible that even a girl at your age have such a good sense of democracy as opposed to guys and girls my age (roughly 5 years older).
