  well a tantrum is a display of anger after all. wouldn't be called one if no one was watching no?
  
  that being said... i don't recall really losing it ever. just visibly angry but none of the oscar worthy acts mentioned in ur post :P how often do you 'act' then?

  We dont need an audience to feel hatred and disgust and act upon it, but I see what you're saying. I have gone out of my way to build up a reservoir of anger that has no purpose beyond trying to feel something that actually makes sense to me. All the pent-up frustration we feel as an entire race, beyond whatever individuality is, this has to go somewhere. I want to watch people writhe in pain and suffer without any reason at all. As long as this needless suffering is inflicted by my own hand. I know I am not alone.
