solely based on the cities and not the univerisity, NYC would be great if you don't mind the hustle and bustle of city life, with places such as times square etc.

If $ isn't a problem, then I would consider NYC. It seems like it would suit you and your energy. I don't think you'd be bored there. It's a pretty happening place with lots of places for you to discover and explore - and then blog about!

Hi, I stumbled across your blog a while ago. Congrats on the admissions! While I've only been to NYC of all the American cities those universities are in, I'd say go with Columbia because you're a city-kid and it makes a big difference during cold winters. I know this as I've been studying in Toronto for almost 3 years. Plus, NYC has lots to explore. :)

Hey!

CONGRATS ON UR OFFERS! You got into some AMAZING schools. I still haven't checked mine yet, hehe. I'm too scared.

Anyway, a few tips that i picked up around school (since everyone has been talking about unis non-stop this month)...NYU's biggest draw is its location. Many people only apply there for the city, and that's why it's so famous. It really only depends on what major to do there, but its mostly best for artsy, film stuff, I guess.

And, U Chicago is mainly good for economics, so if thats what you want to do, that'll be a great choice :) But it's quite a scary place, what with hearing gunshots, getting carjacked and having your home broken into.

but enough of that. OMGOMGOMGOMG GO CELEBRATE. Congrats again :)

1. dad would be one happy man if later u decide to continue at Wharton Sch and help him in the corporate world.

I am not too sure about the other American universities but I definitely know that Uni of Pennsylvania is a SUPER GOOD uni. It was TOP 5 in America back in 2005-2006 if not mistaken.

Hey! So you definitely don't know me, but I blog hop way too much for my own good and landed up at your page :)

Anyway -
-Chicago's got a really intellectual/sarcastic vibe.
-Columbia's really special in that its selections are just amazingly eccentric (plus you get to take classes at Barnard as well)
-Swarthmore is incredibly rigorous
-NYC is pretty much the biggest artsy school
-UPenn is all around great - just really huge classes though (that's hear say)
