I'm so glad you recommended Achmed the Dead Terrorist. One of my friends sent me a link before but I never got around to watching it. After you reminded me, I finally watched it. It is absolutely hilarious.

Plus I'm so envious that you have internet. I used to, but it got expensive, so I canceled it. Its ridiculous that 3G internet is way cheaper in Asia than in the US. We have the most backwards wireless of any developed country. Its pretty embarrassing that we have the world's largest economy but such crappy internet.

I have a crap phone but it can go online. Takes too long to load most sites and everytime I log on, it adds to the phone bill, I learned too late. Not worth it. Maybe you or Martian should check the charges.
Side note: the phrase Teenage Lolita is redundant. A Lolita, coined from the Nabokov novel, is by definition teenaged.

You can use YM, MSN, GTalk and AOL from your phone. Just install the free software called eBuddy. Just go to http://get.ebuddy.com from your mobile phone and run the software. Don't worry...it's a safe software and no virus or whatsoever.

haih, zomg, all phones can go online la..., it's just that u need to subsribe the relevant service otherwise bill will cost a bomb... i personally dont really need this kind of internet service (unless i m working in an industry where i absolutely need to check emails and updates 24/7) and it can be annoying at times when ppl around u do that when they r supposed to hv a convo or socializing with u... (i hv had that experience before...). "want to fiddle with WWW can do it at home, no need to come hang out with me.." i think this kind of thing is only useful if u need it for emergency purpose : eg. mapquesting a direction or what-not. and even that is not that super-urgent la.. can always call someone behind the comp to do that for u...

Video streaming is now possible, but maxis charges you by the Kilobyte! Better if use Wifi la. Oh you can also set up your mobile on Twitter, so you can twitter everywhere u go!

(i'm not sure whether nokia/SE got such function or not la..) but if u hav a unlimited package? u can even on it 24/7 la.. (but then ur batt drained fast la..)

Yeah, do beware of the exorbitant 3G charges in Malaysia for surfing online.... it's like RM0.10 per 10kb.... So, do the math, it is like RM10 per MB. :( Do get the unlimited ones if you want to surf it often :)

Wow sure glad they informed you o_o I work at maxis hq and I hear of a lotttttttt of people who activate their 3g/edge but aren't advised of the charges (ESPECIALLY at MASAs); and they themselves never enquire thinking internet is free or something only to get slapped with a rm2k bill at the end of the month :p
Heck there was one woman who dloaded mp3s via the phone until her bill reached rm220k =x
narrowband --> its abit risky using wifi with the phone cos if the wifi is interrupted the phone will automatically go to 3g/edge (if available) and it won't go back to wifi unless you manually configure it again , so if you don't have a data plan... u know la >_ wtf its 3am and I have work why am I posting comments I like almost never post comments T_T

su ann - yah, you can go to www.google.com/mobile with your phone or with laptop and it will give you instructions! the gmail app is installed in your phone as a .jar file so you don't need to actually log into your phone's browser window with it... it's like opening a program in your phone :D no la it doesn't beep when you receive a new mail hehe but whenever you just log in and it's all the most up-to-date stuff. pretty cool, you can even read attachments and use google docs okay. haha promote kao kao. oh ya obviously can compose.. search... seriously a gmail lite lite thing. :D i srsly think google pwns all. lol.

Girls like to borrow my phone during movies to check the runtimes of movies WHILE watching the movie itself. Annoying sial. So it seems that some girls do know of this! And it's not like I went online with my phone in front of them, or blogged about going online with my phone... for some reason they just assumed that I could.
I used to be so cool though, that I'd get an SMS whenever I get a blog comment.
Now waiting for DiGi to get 3G. Still on EDGE, lucky it's kinda consistent for RM66/month. And they have a upper limit; back when the unlimited EDGE was RM99/month, even if you surfed more than RM149 worth, you'd only get charged RM149 max. No RM220k business!

narrowband --> its abit risky using wifi with the phone cos if the wifi is interrupted the phone will automatically go to 3g/edge (if available) and it won't go back to wifi unless you manually configure it again , so if you don't have a data plan... u know la >_ wtf its 3am and I have work why am I posting comments I like almost never post comments T_T

I used to be so cool though, that I'd get an SMS whenever I get a blog comment.
Now waiting for DiGi to get 3G. Still on EDGE, lucky it's kinda consistent for RM66/month. And they have a upper limit; back when the unlimited EDGE was RM99/month, even if you surfed more than RM149 worth, you'd only get charged RM149 max. No RM220k business!
