I have a habit of buying cards from Hallmark but then I kinda stopped when I realised how much I actually spend on those cards :( Damn pricey okay but they are the best! I love the messages and i can spend hours just reading them in hallmark.

oh there was this one year i bought a birthday card for my dad from hallmark, isetan and it cost ard RM30- 40 if im not wrong, only to find it under his office desk one day. got tanda tanda kena pijak and all. when i showed him a sad face and ask why did he do that to the card, he wasn't even sorry and said, "oh i didnt know aiya card only what why so angry" >:O (!!!) hatiku hancur luruh :(

i love giving out cards! i used to love spending time browsing through cards, selecting those which i thought are most apt with the receiver. think it runs in my family -- i still keep a few cards from my sister as i know (because she told me) how and why she selected those cards for me etc

hallmark cards are really nice btw...my hubby always goes there to buy my bday/anniversary/what-have-you cards with wordings that gets me all misty-eyed!=P

hallmark cards have the best messages ever. but they're so pricey :( i used to handmake my own cards back then, i even had a trademark flower i'd draw behind them, like real copyright liddat! haha.

aaaah.......hallmark!! the place to get really awesome gifts... and i love all the nice and poignant phrases they put on their cards!!! beautiful........but their stuff are incredibly expensive if you ask me..... :(

my two most favorite things from your showcase here are the 'force-field' button and the mugs!! i love mugs......nice to show character, and you can also put coffee in it too!!!

booze!!! ahahha......me love me booze.....well, this entry is a sign that i should go get my six-pack from tesco tonite.....ahahaha

It's tough getting a present espicially when it's time to depart for futher studies... it's exactly that time of my life for me and it's even a worse feeling to see everyone flying off one by one... And flying away to UK myself doesn't really help with the distance ... sighz ... another 2 years of loneliness and half a million bucks gone ... i hate malaysian edu system!! Grr ....

I will get the toy penguin as well. The pregnancy journal sounds really cool. I'll make sure I have one of those things when I am conceiving so I can show it to my daughter ( If I get one ) next time.

su ann... you've never cease to amaze me at how you are able to further intrepid simple things into vibrant meanings...

perhaps some of those items are meant for those who are really able to relate to it and to further understand what's the meaning behind those given about... as we all know hallmark has been always something that stand against time because of its originality and the meanings they bring about into our everyday life...

then again... su ann... i've not talked to you properly or have a proper conversation with you in a long long time.... ^_^

i love hallmark stuff too. esp the cards. but they're way too pricey. can't afford anything from there. unless it's a really special occasion for a really special someone i guess. =) ooh i love giving out little cards and notes just for the fun of it and writing loooonng messages in them too. there's just always so much to say! i guess you'd have noticed through my comments. xD i usually make my own cards. so i have a stock of glitter, glue,sequins and a whole pack of colour paper. =) teeehee. i guess i'll grow out of giving out cards soon, let alone hand-make them. but i'll savour the moment when i still have the heart to do so.

Oh, I know right! Hallmark rocks! I go in that store and just browse and browse and browse... everything looks so nice and you just want to get something for everyone! haha.

And there's just that extra something special and heartwarming- something that you can never get from a text or email or ecard- about giving or receiving a handwritten card. =)

Already bought the watch yesterday ... saw a really nice DKNY with chrono ... RM 700+ and then bought an mp3 plus video player from creatice 8Gig for 616 at Harvey norman for gf ... All at midvalley ...

wanted to go for the cute watch in swatch ... 2 column on the left of the shop ... a black watch with a small cystal inside with graffiti like scribbles on the band ... nice .. some more only 280+...

We went to saisaki the last time but found it an odd experience cause they serve a super huge variety of food including chinese ... Thought jogoya would be a much nicer one ... but then again they're taiwanese.
