Sounds like a very uneventful night. Veal? Come on! To be honest, all the selections you mentioned didn't sound very appetizing. Oh well. I do like my share of quality restaurants, but I'm a sucker for diners. Take me to an good American diner and I'll shower you with gifts. Well, good luck at Marche. Hopefully it's better than this experience.

try pacifica grill in mandarin oriental..
i had my mgif there last year and it was divine.

we had a 4tier desert. combination of 4 deserts in one plate...

    very haute couture!
    go try it!

They looked good, but didn't live up to appearances no? =(
Too much attention to plating and not enough paid to cooking?
    But yeah, how disappointing...

I think it's because I'm not a big fan of seafood.

those food looks extremely delicious in ur pics!!! but i guess the fact that fine dine foods are always photogenic doesn't really help in discerning whether its delicious o not does it ;p hahahahaha ;p aint reli good wif food but if u say it aint nice i believe it coz u seem like you know your stuff ;p

jay : whaddya like? i'll go have whatever u like, then write a review of it :D

crazymedicstudent : haha actually right, thinking about it.. the food in chalet wasnt half bad. its just that i was expecting their festival menu to be of better quality than their usuals. but their regular menu is pretty top notch already, so i guess its hard to beat.

Actually, some of the best menus are the Chinese menus. Don't be so quick to rule them out.

Chynna at KL Hilton was nothing short of awesome.
