That whole Maggie Q lost cat thing was a bit too mawkish for anyone to follow, and what was up with the 'prayer for a lost kitty' thing anyway?

Re: Mission Impossible 3

wars of the world was actually quite bad if you've read the book. the movie totally killed the whole story.

Re: Mission Impossible 3

tclc : oh crap, she's viet?? shit my apologies :P i always thought she was chinese.

Re: Mission Impossible 3

err...Maggie Q is an American-Vietnamese if I'm not mistaken. So, American is just her native tongue man. Although yeah, it's weird how she end up in the HongKong movie scenes. maybe it's becoz she's cute...

i dunno..i mean..MI is supposed to be cleaner type of mission execution (yeah, i'm referring to 'ol TV series MI), but under Tom, it's different. IMO, MI 3 is the roughest MI of all three. maybe it's due to JJ Abrams also. yet, it is still entertaining, but not that much to me. MI 1 holds closest to the traditional MI.

Tom's acting? still playing 'cute boy' face mimic, even under extreme pressure and emotional moment. but anyway, he's better than Keanu...hahaha

Re: Mission Impossible 3

spiller : have not watched any of the movies you just named .. :D

minishorts : she cant speak cantonese! i wonder how she managed to get those acting stints in hong kong @_@ bout the product placement, hehe at least it got people talking about MAS!

Re: Mission Impossible 3

about maggie q: OMG I so agree with you. 'ngo ho lan jun' sounds obscenely foul and wrong!

i think that product placement thing gave a terribly wrong effect lah, it made malaysian airlines seem like it's fit for the junkyard. gah.

Re: Mission Impossible 3

That black guy is Ving Rhames. He was in Con Air, Dawn of the Dead, and even Pulp Fiction! Of course, he was in MI:1 and MI:2 as well.

Yes, he's cool.

Re: Mission Impossible 3

hey, for real?

wow i clearly have a lot to learn about the business world :D

Re: Mission Impossible 3

Thought the MAS signboard wasn't free - why would they put a signboard like that in a junkyard?

I thought it was product placement?
