iamdoryfish : haha whyyyyy you want to follow this blood type diet! it's very stressful wan, everywhere you go you have to watch what you eat. haih. okay you and i, we are The Cultivators! meaning vegetables and grains are good for us, and we're the only bloodtype that can take wheat (flour!) well. and um.. peanut butter and chocolate are good for us. and cheese and red meat generally arent very good. white meat's good/ okay that's all i know hahaha i'm so lousy at this

hmm, if the laptops are of the same brand, they use the same adapter. before you plug it in, check the voltage and the current.

you should also check if it's the ac adapter itself or the electric cord attached to it for the outlet. because people tend to twist and turn the cord, it could just be the electric cord problem and that's easier to replace.

Greenie's almost correct. Some brands use the same adapter. For example, Dell is good about this. Unfortunately, if you have a Sony VAIO like me, they keep changing their adapters with each generation of laptop they come out with, so you have to find someone who has a laptop of the same generation as you. I know this because I have 2 VAIO laptops and the adapter for one laptop does not work for the other one.

If you can find some way to claim warranty though, I would really try hard to do that. If your computer is less than one year old, you are probably still under manufacturer warranty.

I'm blood type A, like you ;) I've also heard about this eating with blood type thing from my boss.. Too much of a hassle for me though.. but someone i know had been following that diet rigorously and he's quite healthy even though he's over 50.. Looks really young.. hehe

Hey,read about the blood type related diet..I'm doubting it but no harm trying..I would love to advice that u better do a bit of research on that and ask a doctor as lack of certain vitamins or minerals from wheat or other food might even cause more problems!Consult ur doctor really... =)

EH!!! There's this restaurant in DJ that's perfect for all these blood-type dieting things. The menu is separated into different sections for types A, B, AB and O. I'm B so I get all the red meat :d Slurp

andy : i actually couldnt find the adapter anywhere! they told me the only way to do it is to go back to the brand headquarters. though this was in singapore. i didnt try kl. i dont know my chinese name because my parents dont know it either :P nope harold and kumar isnt out in kl, i watched it in singapore! haha i probably have more friends studying in australia compared to a combination of friends studying in all other countries in the world :P i say summer cos its 3 months, and winter break for the australians/nzians are only 2 weeks.

pinkshirtz : luckily for me i didnt have to go buy a new adapter! my mom's laptop is the same brand :) aiyo the cactus i tell you. at first he tried drawing the shape of a cactus with his hands, then he mimed himself getting poked. then he mimed a cowboy shootout?? then he did a person crawling around in the desert. hahaha it took FOREVER to guess. we only guessed it when he mimed a chopping action and made like he was drinking water from what he chopped. hahaha

sheon : there's actually a really detailed list of what specific veges and meats we can or cannot eat .. but i dont remember :P the gist of it is that grains and vegetables are good for us, and so is white meat. what's bad for us - pork, red meat, cheese. we're the only blood type that can take wheat well; all others cant. peanuts are also extremely good for us! :D dairy products not so good.

hello! just wanna say my dad's following the blood type diet too and it's annoying like hell. When he sees me eating oatmeal in the morning, he'll yell at me like I'm eating poison. God, it's oatmeal, it's supposed to be good for my heart. I don't care if the author of some book says its not good for me. Sources say that the blood type diet isn't exactly scientifically accurate.

p.s. im type O and im an avid reader of ur blog ;)

What you can _try_ to do is to contact the laptop manufacturer via email or something, with your receipt/warranty number.

The same happened to my laptop a month ago....I went to low yat plaza and bought an adaptor with a few heads - you just choose the one that fits your laptop. It only cost about RM80 - so your laptop can still be saved.
