  pangkor laut looks gorgeous! if i can't ever go to bora bora/seychelles/maldives, this will do just fine as a substitute! :D always wanted a beachside honeymoon :D

  baby, you shd think responsibly abt yr college stuff before you waste time on 4 DAYS IN HK!!!!! think abt those 8 hrs of work you have to put in instead of spending time eating EGG TARTS, watching LUST,CAUTION in IFC CINEMA, going to FLYING PAN at 3AM. oh and er, that bowl of WANTON NOODLES in that restaurant with intuitive waiters on STANLEY ST. and er, KRISPY KREME up at SOHO.

  cos i stayed at some 3-star coral beach motel.. argh..

But, it's too early to tell. =P Anyways, about the HK trip, I'm going to have to go the underdog vote here and say 4 days of college apps just because you'll be so much happier (and stressfree) when you finish.

  What is this?! Everytime I visit your blog, sure something extremely nice come up. Shall I gaga now? No. Shall I compliment? I dunno what to say. Oh life so mundane for me, I wish it could be more interesting, you know, water cannons, tear gas. Damn, I'm disappointed that they didn't release that on me.   and even if you were to not get college apps done by next week, you should go to hk.

  agree... the bidor duck mee is good... I remember the sleepiness after eating that bowl ... so soothingly nice!!
  
  just get urself to hk. no problem. enjoy 3 n a half day and spend the rest with work. it'll work. if u stay ... u'll just meddle around spending 4 unnecessary days to complete a task.
  
  if u manage to escape to hk ... it'll sort of be like a holiday for all of us.

  Nice! You deserve this trip gurl! Pangkor Laut is very beautiful...
  I have a Panasonic Lumix too and I totally love it! It's an old model, I've had it for around 3 years but it never failed me. :) I especially love the fact that the pics I took without flash rarely turn out blur, unless I really shake my hand while taking pics.
  4 days of HK definitely! Its just 4 days.. Think of all the memories you'll get when you go to HK with Martian. haha... :)

  if you are afraid of your camera taking a drink, get an olympus. It's a so so camera for me as I use DSLR's but Point and shoot-wise, get a waterproof,freezeproof,crushproof,5 feet fall proof camera.

  Didn't know Pangkor have such great view? How much did you paid for the trip? I'm planning a little getaway from work and now Pangkor seem like a good choice :D
  
  Somehow Martian looks like he is tempting you with all the things you can do in HK. I guess, college application would be more important at this point but if you can juggle it, then going HK sounds good.

  Well, I'm going to join the minority voice and tell you to get those college apps done. Why? Because if you spend 4 days in HK, every one of those 4 days are going to be stressful since you'll be thinking about your college apps while you're out trying to have fun.
