  The States is a fabulous country. I am sure you will love it and will meet and gain new friends! I was born and raised in Malaysia and moved to the States when I was 17 for college. I've since graduated from college, established a career and found my wonderful husband here. I have been here for over 10 years. I can't complain about life here. You have absolutely nothing to worry about (a lot of things to look forward to :))

  Lol. I had no intention on raining on your parade. So if I did so, I apologize. I always thought that the age all girls wanted to be was 21 (i.e. we even have a large chain of stores in the US called Forever 21), but I guess maybe they want to be 18 now.
