The States is a fabulous country. I am sure you will love it and will meet and gain new friends! I was born and raised in Malaysia and moved to the States when I was 17 for college. I've since graduated from college, established a career and found my wonderful husband here. I have been here for over 10 years. I can't complain about life here. You have absolutely nothing to worry about (a lot of things to look forward to :))

I am so happy to hear that you are going to college in the US. If you don't mind me asking, how does Julian feels about you going to the US? Will he find a job in the US to be with you? I am sure you guys will work it out.

Lol. I had no intention on raining on your parade. So if I did so, I apologize. I always thought that the age all girls wanted to be was 21 (i.e. we even have a large chain of stores in the US called Forever 21), but I guess maybe they want to be 18 now.

Anyway, don't worry, you can be 18 for as long as you want, =).

19th birthday, ain't bad time to have such a blast at that age. Though you need to be back to celebrate 21st birthday with a wider range of friend, or unless you can get the same fun in US when your 21.
