  haha i'm sorry but there's no 24 hour cure. mine went away in approximately 1 day (24 hours you may say) but i had an itch for about 3 or 4 days. but the worst, for me at least, lasted for only 1 day. so don't worry la k? get well soon! =) *huggies from the vainpot

  A few humble pointers (culled from embarassing experience!) from someone who shares your semi-banana quality :
  
  1.Ping=ice
  Shuet=snow
  Therefore, 'ice-tea' = 'ping-cha', not 'shuet-cha'
  
  Cheen=money
  'Lui'= farked up m'sian cantonese, etymology unknown.
  Therefore, 'no money'= 'mo cheen', not 'mo-lui'
  
  That's all I can think of at the mo. Hope it helps, have fun!

  Awww...you poor lil thing. I hope you are feeling better now. It's never too late to have fun! Go get some medication from the local drug store and have ample rest. Just concentrate on getting well and the word fun comes in later aite? Take care and yea..have fun=)

  lalita : it got worse for awhile but i've bounced back to full health :D whee!
  
  tze : mine went away in 12 hrs of sleep a A LOT of eye drops, haha!
  
  worldangel : it started off worse than that actually, the eye infection, fever etc was in fact a notch of improvement .. :D
  
  random surfer : hey, the ping/shuet thing happened on my 1st day here!!! i was like .. 'shuei tai mm koi ..' and they were like MAT YEH ARH?! hahaha i thought maybe i pronounced it wrongly?! so i was like umm ICE, ICE! SHUET! then the lady rolled her eyes and said PING, HAI MAI?! hahaha malu douz. and yeah a friend told me about that cheen/lui thing so i was prepared for that during bargain sessions .. hahaha :D
