i almost forgot wat it felt like walking on the cobbled streets along the ringstrasse. u're going to have such a delightful time in wien! try to spend as much time in the many kaffeehauses if just to sit and soak up the atmosphere. kleines cafe and cafe sperl are splendid. and, the ORIGINAL sacher torte is a definite must! :)

vienna! i only visited verona, milan and venice last time when i was in italy! italy is niceeeee! try tasting their black squid pasta! not sure if you'll like it but its one of the country's speciality! have lots of fun there alright?!

You still have to buy the metro tickets and validate it before each journey in Vienna. There will be conductors going around to check for fare dodgers. I bumped into a few when I was there.
