“it’s okay to pay extra, after all it’s only ringgit. the ringgit is like leaves of a tree!”
=((((((
1st pic of pau in bag : spr cutey!!1
heh.
1. I prefer to sit in the lower deck of the bus too! So much more comfortable. And I haven't had the luck of being exposed to so many other different types of passengers, 'cause 9/10 times, I get the mobile phone guy! The guy who talks so loudly. -_- I swear, the last mobile phone guy I met, I knew his whole life story 'cause he felt compelled to call EVERY SINGLE FRIEND OF HIS to relieve his life story-- from his first crush to how he went to s'pore to work. -___-
2. I met albert at a play too! He's my best friend's friend, met him when I was in high school! Doubt he remembers me now. =/
3. I also think I met Nazrul recently. He works for NTV7 right? :P
4. We have the same luggage bag!!!!! It is too small, I guarantee you. T__T
And last but not the least, where is this teochew porridge in pudu!!! :)

Have a safe trip Su Ann and cant wait to see your adventures in the US of A
teehee are you going to put your whole closet in there like how ginny is doing although shes only coming to corea for 1 week!!
all the best!
i will miss seeing you going out late at night from the balcony!
although i already am in kimchi world :(
anyway, does your luggage have the TSA lock thingy? cos i think the usa customs are quite strict about it. (:
take cares!
You look about 3 ft tall in the luggage bag hahaha
gain new experiences and share some wif us via blogging. xD
hope u'd still hv time to continue blogging but of cuz, your studies come first!
ps: u look so cute in the luggage! =)
p.p.s: i like your pajama pants!
which is precisely what i need! :D i can never have enough storage space.
also: singapore is a fascist butthole. at least here you have democracy.
but it was kinda sad at how they poked fun at the country eventhough it was quite true.
sigh.
anyways, HAVE FUN IN THE USA!
hahaha. love those suitcase photos! so cute! did you use self timer or get someone to take for you?
I know you're already beginning the process of missing everyone, but remember, absence makes the heart grow fonder. You'll be able to cherish your time with your friends even more when you see them in the future. Most importantly, by the time you come back home next, you'll have a bunch of new friends.
Oh and good for you for being brave enough to go half-way across the world for school. I always wanted to do it, but I never was organized enough to accomplish it.
As for the expats, I hope you don't see them as proper representatives of Americans. They always manage to send the most ethnocentric white people abroad. When I was in Asia, I hated every last white person I met there. If I had to judge white people based only on expats, I'm sure I would have a very negative view of white people.
2. yes, i agree with the comment regarding the luggage lock. in fact, due to the hassle i did not bother to lock my luggage for the last 3 times i travelled in and out of USA - may not be a good idea though. do update yourself to the latest requirement.
3. SELAMAT DATANG !
1.don't the australian lady sound a bit racist? hmm.. ... gleneagles offer excellent service to everyone irregardless of their skin colour lo.
2. O_O that is such a big luggage bag~ and the last pic a lil' scary :-P. have fun packing =)
and why is your dorm so small *_*
ps. i totally understand not being able to fit everything you would like to bring into your suitcase, am trying to tackle the same problem now, i have way too many pairs of shoes! xxx
Anyway, it's just four years. I'll be here for six maybe more... Maybe, I'll never be able to come back to KL. I feel that I have no roots here, sometimes. And yes, skype or msn is just not enough. It's not enough when you're not there. Like the blogger wildlife party. :(
I feel like I've missed so much and I do not know who and who is up to what... It's like my friend suddenly had a boyfriend and I didn't know about it till now... And then another one went up North to do training... Sigh. I can't even attend farewells and antyhing!
Maybe this is a form of sacrifice.
aih...i thought you would've bought the hard case samsonite-like luggage? i would've gone for that if it's me. :P
the mat sallehs are right about malaysia. tho all the politicians would rather be in a state of denial and have the face to claim that bolehland is on par with so many other civilized countries. what a shame. (and it takes a prime minister to figure out there's something wrong with out train service, and after so long and soooo many promises made over a span of 10 years. and thats only the train, make him take the bus and see what he has to say!)
dear pinks, i'm sure you'll find life more exciting there!!! and after a while, you'll have sooo many great friends from all over the world.....
lets hope my plans for christmas '09 materializes.... and i'll be snowballing you in the US.
bon voyage! :D
Wish u well in everything! :)
Selamat Datang di US! Just wait until you try our pizza here! And bagels, pastrami, and clam chowder! You'll find a whole new world of food, from cheesesteaks to cheesecakes.
all the best in the states. uni life is one of the best phase in life i may say. despite missing my home, family, friends and food in KL, i'm totally loving it down under in aussie. make the best out of it. hope u enjoy uni in the states :)
cheers.
Bon voyage....
y dun u jus ship ur self over 2 the states?
den we can haf a hell of front page article in newspapers 2moro...
Malaysian girl smuggles herself into the US of A... dat will b a gud laugh kekeke
ciao
You'll find that Malaysia is easier to love once you're far away from it. All the things you usually whine about are gone, and you remember only the good things.
also: we have the best food in the fucking world. go ahead, tear up your malaysian passport, you'll just condemn yourself to never eating awesome koay teow.. forever.
i miss big apple. they don't have it here.
I am sure you'll make the most out of your time in NY. Life is sweetest when it is most pregnant with possibilities, as yours is now.
I know you'll miss your family and friends, and they'll miss you too, but think - you'll be able to fall into each other's arms rapturously after a separation of months =)
"..in the FUCKING world. go ahead, TEAR UP your malaysian passport, you’ll just CONDEMN yourself....."
what did i say? chill man!
All the best and good luck !! Look forward to hearing your stories !
tip from someone who had the same problem with packing:
pack smart. mostly essentials and little momentoes. and a few of yr favourite items. there will always be more shopping to do later in US.
happy packing :D
p.s. you look cute in the first photo!
the thing about growing up is that there's more things to do than just watch balls of fury or talladega nights, more people to meet than ah kow your best friend and more places to go than just toys r us. the tragic thing is that there isn't more time in a day.
WE WILL MISSS YOU!!!!! *cries*
I know ur gonna miss Malaysia.. the weather, the people, family and friends... but trust me, ur gonna have a blast in the States. 4 years might sound a hell of a long time, but time flies when ur enjoying yourself. New York city is definately the capital of the world. So many things to see and explore. See you soon at the other side of the world!!!!
Speak soon
4 years will fly by. once you get settled into the hum drum of uni activities and hanging out with people there, 4 years will fly by in a blink. it'll always feel the hardest when there's a lull in between busy periods, but you'll cope.
cheer up girlie. enjoy what is the best time of student years. i wish I enjoyed mine even more, and I loved my uni years.
it came to a point when i feel sad when i left UK for home during summer breaks, and sad again when i had to leave home for UK for a new uni term.
again, wishing you the very best. :) you have plenty of friends in the blogging world who will only be a click away. (it's not the same i know.... but do cheer up.... it's a new season; new adventures, new experiences, new sights - be excited.)
the luggage photo session xD
