I'll have to agree with Gin that the pink dress really looks great on you. No wonder you love pink. (I'm typing this while trying to hide from my roommates the fact that I'm on a very, very pink site).

Sorry, Kelvin if I made you feel old. Its just that when I started reading the entry I had this mental image of a 20-something guy, so when I saw the picture I was a bit surprised. It was more of my own fault than anything - I should read more carefully between the lines.

And I have no problems with hanging out with older people, as a semi-young (24 year old) lawyer, I hang out with older people all the time. (US lawyers tend to be older on average since lawyers have to go through 7 yrs of college.) For example, at the law firm I worked at in law school, the next youngest lawyer at the firm was old enough to have been my dad.
  • Jeff from LA · 2 years ago
Actually, I should clarify that a bit. Its not 7 years of straight college to become a lawyer (lest I scare everyone away from law). Its 4-5 years of undergraduate study, and 3 years of graduate study at a law school.
  • Kelvin · 2 years ago
    it's ok Jeff :)

the young kids at my badminton sessions are also calling me "Uncle" already... time flies and we must always make the best of things. though i think you should have other better things as mental images instead of me hahahaha

pinkpau... my cheeks aren't as fat as yours :P

Unlike you I'm dreading this time of the year. I can actually roast a chicken without using a fire in my garden under the merciless heat and light from that bright little object up in the sky.

6 months back from the US and I'm still not used to the damn weather. *shrug*

What's with guys and pink? Well what's with girls and pink? =S My gf just bought me a bright pink T shirt that says I
  • hw · 2 years ago
    argh... post got cut off..

    to continue...

My gf just bought me a bright pink T shirt that says I heart Fish and the heart is filled with those bright red glittery beady thingys and I'm supposed to wear it everyday. Not that I mind, but oh dear....

Btw your blog isn't annoyingly pink, thank god. If you want annoying pink, try entering a Sanrio / Hello Kitty store.

    :P

  • Jeff from LA · 2 years ago
I was not saying that Pinkpau should change the color of her site, she has the right to make it whatever color she wishes.

Also, I think pink is less gender-oriented to Asian guys living in Asian countries. When I was in HK/Taiwan, it wasn't entirely uncommon to see guys wearing pink.

In America, its pretty rare to see a guy with a pink shirt on unless he "plays for the other team" or he just moved here from another country. Not that there's anything wrong with guys wearing pink, of course.
  • Kelvin · 2 years ago
    Pinky,

    "hey, Kevin, you married?"

    Are you referring to me?
  • k0k · 2 years ago
    yep, it's working fine now.

    ...

Damn. A food post. You lured me here on purpose didn't you?
