  dont be so hard on yourself. things do get better, just hang in there. tight hugs for you. at times i feel that a home is like a bird nest, even the best one will be empty eventually. children from 'fine' and not so 'fine' homes have equal urge to leave home. no? well, many proud parents of fine homes suffer from empty nest syndrome.

  1. Go to liquor cabinet
  2. Make nice cocktail (Personal favourite, Sprite + Absolut Vanilla)
  3. Switch on nice music
  4. Scream along with music
  5. Play air guitar
  6. Tidy up broken pieces of furniture... (O.o)

  n : i dont understand how people like you can read a person's blog for like a day or two and make so many judgments on the blogger. do you know what i am going through? what window into my life do you have besides my blog, that gives you the right to justify your comments? just because all you read about are cupcakes and SAT student life, it doesnt mean there's nothing else. find it in yourself to realize that a blog is but one dimension of a person. you dont even know me.

  hey your opinions are valid, so are mine: they're mine. and u choose to let us share ours with you. so don't be biased just because i'm not sitting on your side of the fence, or telling you things you want to hear, after all blogs are free speech and you get the same freedom to say the things we would in comments.
  
  i've been reading your blog for ages, perhaps from what you portray or choose to share these are the opinions people make about you. we can't see past the surface that is this firefox browser because we don't personally know you. so if you are going to be touchy feely about opinions people have about the public Pinkpau perhaps you should rethink the image you're giving us.

  Why should she have to adulterate her style of self-expression to suit the desires of someone who doesn't matter to her? Please don't flatter yourself into thinking that what you think of her actually matters all that much.
  
  You already openly admitted that you don't personally know her. Yet you talked at length about her situation as if you do. So? Who is the one that has to do the rethinking here? Free speech is all very well and fine, but there is a universal consensus that states that people who don't know what they're talking about should just keep quiet.
  
  There is also an unwritten rule stating that if you have something to say, you can say it nicely. The way you stated your opinion was rude and condescending. Those two characteristics, coupled with your ignorance, make for this: an opinion that doesn't deserve to be taken seriously. If you want a kinder reaction from the recipient of your comment, perhaps a little more respect is in order...?

  Personally, I feel this only adds more to the flavour of your blog. I mean, you're one of those rare bloggers who actually writes down their feelings and rantings according to the way that they want it to be.
  You're not bounded by the thought of "I should blog about stuffs that people want to read about".
  And I wouldn't have it any other way as this is what that makes your blog so special.

  dunno why i sudd realises that the rich and resourceful maintain a blog well..almost?
  maybe they can dine in fine dining restaurants, attend glamorous parties, blog bout nice bags, travelling all over the world etc etc. while poor ppl dun have much to talk really. who would wan to hear some ppl ranting bout his/her miserable life...
  
  ok, not like N or some other else that says u cant have down times etc...i mean all ppl does...and they are free to express any damn thing they want in their blog...
  
  I mean a miserable guy...give him a name, like M
  when he looks all the damn nice thing in ur life, while he have to suffer all the fxcking life he is on every day...

  Charlie: N does have valid comments. He/she has a right to express his/her opinions. True, they may not matter much, but they're valid all the same. Criticism is as important, or maybe even more important, than "hearing what you want to hear". Unless you're the Malaysian government, of course.

  i do have valid points. Pinkpau can blog about whatever she wants. at the same time commenters can say whatever they want too. all i am trying to say is, that was how i saw it. in a way it was criticism but it wasn't sugarcoated. should it be?
  
  look at porcupine. one negative response from miss Pinkpau and he/she is all apologetic. have some spine man. she's not made out of glass right?
  
  often, blog commenters care too much about what the blogger thinks about them.
  
  why can't commenters be as honest as bloggers often are?

  I highly doubt I went off on a 'tangent', seeing as how the purpose of my response was to tell you that you could have done a better job with expressing your opinion. Everything I stated in my comment has served that objective perfectly well. I think it is you that has misunderstood.
  
  I managed to understand the points you were trying to put across. However, I think that you failed to do the same for mine. Notice how I never stated that I am against criticism in totality; I just can't stand people making conclusions on something they're not familiar with at all.
  
  There is a universe of difference between sugar-coating a dissenting opinion and being an obnoxious, presumptuous turd. Your unnecessarily caustic sarcasm has placed you firmly in the latter category. I get what you mean by being entitled to the right to say what you want however you want to. But if you don't want your target to react antagonistically, simple logic states that you shouldn't give her reason to. This is something people on the higher rungs of the evolution ladder like to call "civility".
  
  Also, I find it funny that you're whining so much about freedom of verbal expression, and yet YOU are the one telling Pinkpau how to react to comments. You are entitled to an opinion on Pinkpau's blog post, but she is also entitled to an opinion on your opinion. The 'I get to say whatever I want however I want' door swings both ways.
  
  Also, the fact that she is trying to defend herself doesn't mean she is getting all 'touchy feely' (How eloquently put! Send for the Pulitzer!). She has a right to vindicate herself in the event that someone jumps to inaccurate conclusions on her personal life. If wanting to clarify things from her perspective makes her 'biased', then aren't we all a little 'biased' in that respect?
  
  I get tired of having to repeat myself, so before you write your reply, please remember that I am not against blog criticism in general. I am just against yours because, well, you didn't know what the screaming, yippadeedoodah-ing fuck you were talking about. You even admitted to that yourself.
  
  To Michael: Opinions only have validity when they are not aired by a self-proclaimed ignoramus. Criticism is only important when the critic is familiar with what he is talking about.
  
  If a man that does not know anything about the Chinese (other than what he has seen in Jackie Chan movies) says "all chineez r dawg-eatin basturds lawl', is that still valid? Should it still be taken seriously? Obviously, the answer is no.

  n : i'm glad you realize the firefox browser is all that you're getting; the public pinkpau as opposed to the nonpublic pinkpau. this post that you're commenting on addresses 4 different issues that i'm going through, via metaphors of pizza toppings, the toilet, coins and a girl i met; 4 issues that are big and right now are eating me inside out. it makes me angry that you have the nerve to come in here and tell me that i have no right to go through these problems and feel upset about them. you said it yourself, you are a reader who only sees the "public pinkpau". so there may be a certain image that you get from me (which is funny because i never brag about having money; did you know that bloggers get to dine for free a lot? and my travel isnt expensive? when did you see me blog about designer shoes as you so put it?), but learn to distinguish between this public me and the real me. what you're doing is taking your judgments of a public me and superimposing it all over the private me, the personal me who goes through ups and downs just like everyone does. very unfair.

  there's a distinct difference between whining and simply stating a fact. so i'm not blessed with bucketloads of manners and tact and verbal eloquence as you seem to be born with. trust me im jealous already. but i think youve lost the whole point defending your lovely statements and Pinkpau in that 10/10 essay of yours....
  
  i'm just saying, you know, given all the luxuries of living a carefree life she sure has a lot of reason to be depressed about.
  
  should i elaborate? reality, for gods sake is more than the oh my god i'm blubbering because i don't know why i'm feeling this way. poor me. reality is clairol on sale not fucking top shelf redken. reality is not enough money not where are my malaysian coins, fuck i dont need all these foreign change from all these trips ive been making. reality is what to eat for dinner on a budget not ordering three pizzas and oh ive lost my appetite.

  And as what Charlie has said, there is this little value known as CIVILITY.
  So when you enter a friend's house, by all means you'll have to maintain a certain level of respect to the host right?
  You don't go around saying stuffs like, "Dude, your house is like a total stinkhole" or somehting like that.
  
  Right of speech is all fine and dandy.
  The ART of speech is a whole different matter.

  hahaha i hv a lot of singaporean coins also in my wallet. in case i drop by Sg again then I don't have to fret about change but i get very annoyed when i mistaken it as our 20 cents coins. i ran out of small change for a cab ride the other day and i gave him 5 SGD 1 coins and RM4 in coins and i said he can go change it to RM hahahah and he said nvm nvm. the cab ride was only 6 bucks but i felt bad for tht pak cik cos he dsnt have RM 50 change and i dnt hv enough RM 1 to spare. okay pauuuu faster blog something new already. this comment war damn lapuk jor pls. :D oh babe you're the best la why are u so cool i always like chatting with u on msn cos ure so cool hahaha

Since when has she ever put up a post saying anything close to "OMG CLINIQUE NO MORE PERFUME OREDI I GO JUMP CLIFF"? For all we know, what she is posting here is only the tip of the iceberg.
